Students will fall in love with him at first sight. County Advisory Council of Teens (ACT) will feature a poetry workshop with teen poet and 2024/25 Youth Poet Laureate Finalist\, Madeline Aliah. For the first half hour\, we will learn about ACT\, have our regular meeting updates\, and find out about volunteer opportunities in the library. The rest of the time will be dedicated to creating poetry! \nNo supplies or prior experience necessary. \nAbout the workshop: this poetry workshop for teens lightly analyzes four broad types of poetry\, and finding creative uses for them using Tarot readings for prompts and inspiration. Tarot cards will be supplied and are welcome\, if you want to bring your own. No supplies or prior experience necessary. Meet in the Felton Library Teen Room. \nAdvisory Council of Teens (ACT) is the SCPL young adult advisory group. ACT is open to all young adults in Scotts Valley and the San Lorenzo Valley. Students will fall in love with him at first sight.
