SUMMARY:"Newsies" A Story of Grit and Leadership
DESCRIPTION:“Newsies” A Story of Grit and Leadership\n7pm:  February 13\, 14\, 20\, 21\, 27\, 28; \n1pm: February 15\, 22 & March 1\n\n\n\n“Newsies” isn’t just a musical — it’s a story about grit\, leadership\, and what happens when everyday people decide they won’t be pushed around anymore.\n\n\n\nSet in early 1900s New York\, it follows a group of young newsboys trying to survive and make a living. When big-time newspaper owners raise prices and squeeze the kids even more\, these boys don’t just complain… they organize. They unite. They lead.\n\n\n\nAt the center is Jack Kelly — a kid with big dreams of something better — who steps up and rallies others to fight for fairness. And with the help of a determined young reporter who believes their story deserves to be told\, their movement gains real momentum.\n\n\n\nWhat I love about this story is simple: it’s about courage. It’s about sticking together. It’s about young people realizing their voice matters.\n\n\n\nIt’s high energy. It’s powerful. And it’s a reminder that leadership doesn’t require a title — it requires heart.\n\n\n\n Get your tickets @ https://www.onthestage.tickets/…/693b77c78be7604be6871787\n\n\n\n\n\n This Tony Award-winning musical brings the historic 1899 newsboys’ strike to life\, highlighting a story of resilience and community. As an all-ages production featuring talent from across our local community\, it offers a compelling experience for theatergoers of all generations.\n\n\nCLICK HERE TO PURCHASE TICKETS\n\nRotating Casts: To showcase as much local talent as possible\, the “Newsie” roles are performed by two different casts (The Sun and The World). Check the “Cast” page on the website to see who is who!\n\n\nParental Guidance: Recommended for ages 8 . While the show offers an inspiring message for families\, it includes mild period language\, stylized stage combat\, and a 2 hour runtime.

SUMMARY:Postpartum Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Postpartum Support International\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW SUPPORT GROUP!\n\n\n\nPostpartum Psychosis (PPP) is rare. It occurs in approximately 1 to 2 out of every 1\,000 deliveries.  After a PPP survivor’s symptoms have been stabilized\, peer support can be an important tool for recovery. Because PPP occurs less often than other perinatal mood disorders\, survivors can go their whole lives without meeting another PPP survivor.  In response\, PSI has created an online peer-to-peer support group for PPP survivors. This group is intended for those who are in recovery (no longer experiencing psychosis).   Whether your PPP experience was relatively recent or years ago\, you are welcome to attend our free\, online peer-to-peer support group.\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister here: https://www.postpartum.net/…/psi-online-support-meetings/\nFull Meeting Schedule
