SUMMARY:The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
DESCRIPTION:The Hunchback Of Notre Dame\nThursdays – Saturdays\, 7:30pm\, July 6 – 8 and 14 – 15 and 20-22 and 27-29;   2pm Sunday\, July 9\, 16\, 23 & 30 \nA sweeping score and powerful story! Audiences will be swept away by the magic of this truly unforgettable musical. \nThe musical begins as the bells of Notre Dame sound through the famed cathedral in fifteenth-century Paris. A full choir sets the scene as the bell-ringer\, Quasimodo\, observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools. Convinced by his uncle and caretaker that he must stay hidden because of his physical appearance\, Quasimodo longs to experience life out in the world. Defying his uncle\, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo\, he escapes for the day and joins the boisterous crowd\, only to be treated cruelly by all but the compassionate and brave Romani dancer\, Esmeralda. Quasimodo isn’t the only one captivated by her free spirit though – Captain Phoebus\, fresh from the battlefront and looking to forget the horrors of war — is equally enthralled by Esmeralda. These three characters\, each outcasts in their own way\, are thrust into turmoil when Frollo embarks on a mission to destroy the Roma people. As Frollo’s anger rages higher and pushes events toward fiery consequences\, Quasimodo\, Esmeralda\, and Phoebus must shatter the confines society has trapped them in to save each other. A sweeping score and powerful story make “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” an instant classic.

SUMMARY:The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
DESCRIPTION:The Hunchback Of Notre Dame\nThurs\, Fri\, Sat: 7:30pm\, July 6\, 7\, 8\, 14\, 15\, 20\, 21\, 22\, 27\, 28\, 29\nSun\, 2pm: July 16\, 23\, 30 \nA sweeping score and powerful story!  Audiences will be swept away by the magic of this truly unforgettable musical. \nVictor Hugo’s timeless novel\, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”\, comes roaring to life in this brilliant adaptation. Showcasing the Disney animated film’s Academy Award-nominated score\, as well as new songs by Menken and Schwartz\, Peter Parnell’s new book pulls directly from the novel to portray the themes of seeing past differences to embrace humanity. \nTickets: https://www.cabrillostage.com/tickets

SUMMARY:Downtown Farmers Market 2022
DESCRIPTION:Downtown Farmers Market\nWednesdays\, May – Oct 1 – 6pm; Nov – April 1 – 5pm \nThe Downtown Santa Cruz Market runs year-round on Wednesdays\, 1-6pm May through October and 1-5pm November through April. Our largest and oldest market\, it is situated in the heart of Downtown Santa Cruz\, one block off of Pacific Avenue. Established in 1990\, many of the farms that sell here were and remain pillars of the organic and ecological farming movement. This is the place to eat with the seasons! The variety of fruits\, vegetables\, flowers\, pastured meats and other products is swoon worthy. \nThe Downtown Market also spotlights a large variety of up-and-coming\, unique cultural food businesses. This weekly spot may serve up the most diverse selection of ethnic foods in the county including momo\, naan and curry\, Japanese fermented misos\, Eritrean dishes\, crepes\, El Salvadorean pupusas\, traditional Italian cookies\, fish and chips and long-ferment fresh breads. Shopping at the Wednesday market is a wonderful way to support regional responsible farms and small local businesses. Fill your grocery bags! Then sit down for a delightful meal and rest your weary arms. \n
