SUMMARY:READ program with Ziggy the mini
DESCRIPTION:READ program with Ziggy the mini\nOne hour Sessions\, 1pm and 2pm\, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons\, beginning  November 30 and December 1\n \nREAD program (Reading Equine Art Duo) with Ziggy the mini was designed to strengthen reading skills in a fun\, creative way. Students will fall in love with him at first sight. So\, come join the fun and learn is a holistic way with Ziggy and Lisa 🙂 \n\nWhere: READ program is currently hosted at a ranch in Watsonville.  Also we will be visiting libraries\, schools\, hospitals\, and nursing homes soon!  Ziggy Stardust is our dwarf miniature horse and he loves reading with all age levels.     \nLisa is also available to visit your horse(s) and READ with them!  This social/mental stimulation provides an overall sense of well-being.  They love it; see video How tab for evidence.  😉 \n\n\n\n\nWhen: For availability\, more information and directions\, text Lisa at (831) 227-9847

SUMMARY:Live Oak Farmers Market
DESCRIPTION:Live Oak Farmers Market\nSundays 9am – 1pm year round \nStarted in 2000\, Live Oak Farmers Market is a neighborhood market has grown to be a weekly event that is loved by the communities of Live Oak\, Pleasure Point and Capitola. A decade has past since this market became year round and here you will find an excellent selection of organic produce from local farms\, tree ripened fruits\, dried fruit and nuts\, fresh bread\, pastries\, seafood\, pasture-raised organic meats and more. The market is also the epicenter of the clean food movement\, showcasing amazing Sunday brunch offerings like traditional Michoacan Mexican dishes\, dumplings\, crepes and artisan hand pies. This is your Sunday destination. \n  \nMarket Match\nMarket Match offers farmers’ market customers a dollar-for-dollar match up to $10 on their CalFresh (food stamp) cards at the Live Oak Market. If a customer swipes their CalFresh card for seven dollars\, they get seven dollars in Market Match tokens for free. Swipe $10\, you get $10. The goal of this project is to encourage CalFresh (EBT/SNAP) recipients to take advantage of fresh\, locally-grown fruits and vegetables. By offering an incentive that lowers the price of fresh produce\, we are helping shoppers stretch their food dollars while keeping their families healthy. SCCFM will be offering the Market Match program for the 2020 season. Locate the information booth and the market manager to redeem EBT coins and to participate in the Market Match Program.

SUMMARY:Lyrid Meteor Shower
DESCRIPTION:Lyrid Meteor Shower\nTuesday\, April 22\, a little before midnight a little after\n\nA dazzling meteor shower producing 10-15 meteors per hour! Since the radiant rises before midnight\, try spotting meteors before the fat crescent Moon rises after midnight.\n\nWhat’s the best way to see shooting stars?\n“For the best experience\, face roughly toward the east\, lie down in a safe\, dark place away from bright lights\, and look straight overhead\,” NASA spokesman Preston Dyches said. \n\n\nWhere in the USA can you watch the 2025 Lyrid meteor shower?\n\nThere’s good news for U.S. sky watchers; the Lyrid meteor shower will be visible across the country. But\, in order to get the absolute best view of the meteor shower\, Space.com says you’ll need to head somewhere with little to no light pollution to see it. \nThat may mean traveling out of urban and residential areas\, and heading to remote areas with wide open views of the night sky. According to Travel & Leisure\, some of the darkest places in the U.S. include: \nWhat time should you go outside to see the Lyrid meteor shower?\n\nNow that you know the date and where to go\, it’s important to set yourself up for success by heading outside at the right time. According to Space.com\, that means going out just before dawn\, when the shower will be at the highest point in the sky. \nJust keep in mind\, while this means you’ll have better visibility of the shower — which has a Zenithal Hourly Rate (ZHR) of 18\, meaning that you should be able to witness 18 meteors during the peak activity hour — you’ll have less time to enjoy it. \n\n\nThat’s because the meteors will become less visible as the sun begins to rise. But\, the tradeoff is that you’ll likely have the clearest viewing window during that time. \nSpace.com also cautions hopeful stargazers to come prepared when they show up for the meteor shower\, which involves bringing warm clothing and a hot beverage so that you can help regulate your body temperature overnight. \n\n\nAdditionally\, the website says bringing a flashlight with a red light will help you to see what’s going on around you without compromising your view of the Lyrid meteors. Lastly\, they suggest using a deck chair with a slight incline while you wait. This will give you a better view of the sky without putting undo strain on your neck. \nBecause you don’t want to miss one of those 18 meteors because you had to take a break because you were uncomfortable.

SUMMARY:Two Must-See Sky Events in Late April
DESCRIPTION:Don’t Miss These Two Must-See Sky Events in Late April!\n8pm – 9am \n\n\nApril 25: A Smiley Face in the Sky\nOn this night\, a rare celestial alignment will form a “smiley face” in the sky. The crescent moon will appear alongside two bright planets (likely Venus and Jupiter)\, creating a formation that resembles a smiling face. It’s a delightful and photogenic moment not to be missed.\n\n\n\nApril 27: Moon Closest to Earth\nAlso known as the perigee\, the Moon will reach its closest point to Earth on this date. This makes it appear slightly larger and brighter than usual — often referred to as a “Supermoon.” A perfect time for sky gazers and photographers to enjoy the lunar

SUMMARY:Postpartum Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Postpartum Support International\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW SUPPORT GROUP!\n\n\n\nPostpartum Psychosis (PPP) is rare. It occurs in approximately 1 to 2 out of every 1\,000 deliveries.  After a PPP survivor’s symptoms have been stabilized\, peer support can be an important tool for recovery. Because PPP occurs less often than other perinatal mood disorders\, survivors can go their whole lives without meeting another PPP survivor.  In response\, PSI has created an online peer-to-peer support group for PPP survivors. This group is intended for those who are in recovery (no longer experiencing psychosis).   Whether your PPP experience was relatively recent or years ago\, you are welcome to attend our free\, online peer-to-peer support group.\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister here: https://www.postpartum.net/…/psi-online-support-meetings/\nFull Meeting Schedule
