SUMMARY:Postpartum Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Postpartum Support International\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW SUPPORT GROUP!\n\n\n\nPostpartum Psychosis (PPP) is rare. It occurs in approximately 1 to 2 out of every 1\,000 deliveries.  After a PPP survivor’s symptoms have been stabilized\, peer support can be an important tool for recovery. Because PPP occurs less often than other perinatal mood disorders\, survivors can go their whole lives without meeting another PPP survivor.  In response\, PSI has created an online peer-to-peer support group for PPP survivors. This group is intended for those who are in recovery (no longer experiencing psychosis).   Whether your PPP experience was relatively recent or years ago\, you are welcome to attend our free\, online peer-to-peer support group.\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister here: https://www.postpartum.net/…/psi-online-support-meetings/\nFull Meeting Schedule

SUMMARY:Family Biking Lunch and Learn
DESCRIPTION:Family Biking Lunch and Learn\nTuesday\, April 15\, 2pm \nJoin GO Santa Cruz and Ecology Action for a Family Biking Lunch and Learn on Tuesday\, April 15\, at noon at the Civic Auditorium or virtually via Zoom. For in-person attendees\, lunch from Pizzeria La Buffala is on us! \nOf all the barriers people face to biking\, issues related to riding with kids usually land at the top of the list. How early can you get your kiddo on a bike with you? What are the different ways you can carry your kids or ride with them? Is a cargo bike better than a trailer? With a bit of preparation\, we’re confident that you can successfully navigate the childcare\, school\, work\, errand and extracurricular point-to-point action by bike. \nKid tested\, parent approved. As more families head out by bike\, there are a lot of options to consider. We’ll help you navigate the how-to’s of riding with children. \nIn this workshop\, Ecology Action staff will guide you through the many options for family biking. Topics will include gear\, family testimonials\, riding through the developmental stages\, and recommendations for riding with kids safely\, conveniently\, and having fun along the way. Find out how parents and caregivers are replacing the minivan with the bike and why kids can’t seem to get enough. We’ll also cover all of the GOSC benefits available to you including commute rewards\, discounted Bcycle memberships\, and e-bike rebates. \nFREE BIKE LIGHTS AND HELMETS AVAILABLE FOR ALL ATTENDEES* \nREGISTER \nFor more information on the GO Santa Cruz program and available benefits\, visit gosantacruzcounty.org \nThis free workshop is offered to all downtown Santa Cruz employees as part of GO Santa Cruz\, a transportation program that provides downtown employees with commute alternatives to single-occupant car trips.
