SUMMARY:Connect with Nature and Increase Creativity
DESCRIPTION:Connect with nature and increase creativity\nWednesday\, September 18\, 2-5pm \nAre you ready to connect with nature and become more creative?
Would you like to write with more ease and joy? \nThis class will explore how connecting with nature inspires our writing\, and how writing can lead us into a deep and nourishing connection with nature.Together we’ll experience easy and enjoyable ways to immerse in nature\, get our pens moving\, and tap into natural creativity. Through a series of gentle nature awareness and writing practices\, we will open to receive inspiration from tall redwoods\, lush ferns\, and the flowing creek. \nWe’ll discover how writing not just about but with the natural world frees up our creativity and takes us to wonderful and surprising places. Sharing writing will be invited but not required. Expect to leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated\, with some new writing that you love and tools to help you draw on nature for inspiration and support wherever you are. \nThis is a gentle\, experiential program—not a vigorous hike. We will walk about half a mile and spend more time sitting than walking. Most of the activities will be done near the creek. \nClass meets at the parking lot at the main entrance to Fall Creek. Note that there are no restrooms in this park. Those who register will receive more detailed directions and information via email. \nFall Creek Unit of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park \nRegistration is open!  https://www.mountainparks.org/…/naturally-creative… \n\nKai Siedenburg\n\nKai Siedenburg is a poet\, nature connection guide\, and Ecotherapist who is passionate about helping people connect with nature as a path to greater peace\, joy\, and healing. SUMMARY:Postpartum Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Postpartum Support International\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW SUPPORT GROUP!\n\n\n\nPostpartum Psychosis (PPP) is rare. It occurs in approximately 1 to 2 out of every 1\,000 deliveries.  After a PPP survivor’s symptoms have been stabilized\, peer support can be an important tool for recovery. Because PPP occurs less often than other perinatal mood disorders\, survivors can go their whole lives without meeting another PPP survivor.  In response\, PSI has created an online peer-to-peer support group for PPP survivors. This group is intended for those who are in recovery (no longer experiencing psychosis).   Whether your PPP experience was relatively recent or years ago\, you are welcome to attend our free\, online peer-to-peer support group.\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister here: https://www.postpartum.net/…/psi-online-support-meetings/\nFull Meeting Schedule

SUMMARY:Live Oak Farmers Market
DESCRIPTION:Live Oak Farmers Market\nSundays 9am – 1pm year round \nStarted in 2000\, Live Oak Farmers Market is a neighborhood market has grown to be a weekly event that is loved by the communities of Live Oak\, Pleasure Point and Capitola. A decade has past since this market became year round and here you will find an excellent selection of organic produce from local farms\, tree ripened fruits\, dried fruit and nuts\, fresh bread\, pastries\, seafood\, pasture-raised organic meats and more. The market is also the epicenter of the clean food movement\, showcasing amazing Sunday brunch offerings like traditional Michoacan Mexican dishes\, dumplings\, crepes and artisan hand pies. This is your Sunday destination. \n  \nMarket Match\nMarket Match offers farmers’ market customers a dollar-for-dollar match up to $10 on their CalFresh (food stamp) cards at the Live Oak Market. If a customer swipes their CalFresh card for seven dollars\, they get seven dollars in Market Match tokens for free. Swipe $10\, you get $10. The goal of this project is to encourage CalFresh (EBT/SNAP) recipients to take advantage of fresh\, locally-grown fruits and vegetables. By offering an incentive that lowers the price of fresh produce\, we are helping shoppers stretch their food dollars while keeping their families healthy. SCCFM will be offering the Market Match program for the 2020 season. Locate the information booth and the market manager to redeem EBT coins and to participate in the Market Match Program.
