DESCRIPTION:SPCA Santa Cruz PAWS After-School\nMondays 4-6pm\, September 8-22; October 6-20; November 3-17; December 1-15 \nPAWS (Promoting Animal Welfare with Students) is the perfect program for students who love animals. \nJunior PAWS Tier One\, for children 7 to 9 years\, introduces the children to our SPCASC shelter and animals through compassion\, play and basic training. \nIt explains how to recognize animal behavior and body language so the kids can conduct “consent tests” safely and respectfully. \nParticipants channel their creativity by making toys for the animals and designing advertising posters to promote them to potential adopters. \nRegister now for some puppy and kitten love!
