DESCRIPTION:Boulder Creek Scavenger Hunt Adventure\n\nApril 1-30\n\n\nSpring into action from April 1–30\, 2026\, for April Antics\, a month-long digital and in-person scavenger hunt through Boulder Creek. This exciting community event is a fundraiser for the Boulder Creek Recreation and Park District (BCRPD) Foundation\, the non-profit dedicated to supporting our local parks and programs. \nThrough the Item List\, you’ll be challenged to discover Boulder Creek in a whole new way. Work together to find and document everything on the list—the more creative\, the better! Some items are easy wins\, while others will put your sleuthing skills to the test. Grab your team\, snap your photos\, and show off your team’s unique spirit.  \nBuild Your Crew: Teams can have up to 10 members. Whether they’re people or your favorite mascots\, everyone counts!  \n​Lead the Way: Each team needs just one registration and one designated Team leader for all communications. \nGet Ready: Watch your inbox! The Item List hits the Team Leader’s email at 5:00 PM on March 31. \n​The Challenge: You have the entire month of April to complete the list and send in your Team Submittal Package. Submit your Team Submittal Package by 5:00 PM on April 30th. You can drop it off in person at the Bear Creek Facility or the Downtown Rec Facility\, or email it directly to bcrecfoundation@gmail.com. \n​Prizes: The Grand Prize is a private pool party at the Bear Creek Facility for the team with the most points! There are also Special Awards for the Most Creative Answers\, First Team to Finish\, Silliest Answers\, Best Pictures\, Most Dedicated\, and possibly more. \n\n\n\nEntry Fee: $20 per team\n\nAll proceeds benefit the BCRPD Foundation. Come laugh\, explore\, and make unforgettable memories!

The variety of fruits\, vegetables\, flowers\, pastured meats and other products is swoon worthy. \nThe Downtown Market also spotlights a large variety of up-and-coming\, unique cultural food businesses. This weekly spot may serve up the most diverse selection of ethnic foods in the county including momo\, naan and curry\, Japanese fermented misos\, Eritrean dishes\, crepes\, El Salvadorean pupusas\, traditional Italian cookies\, fish and chips and long-ferment fresh breads. Shopping at the Wednesday market is a wonderful way to support regional responsible farms and small local businesses. Fill your grocery bags! Students in this group can work off of existing skills learned in our PAWS 1 program and can gain both further skill sets and a greater understanding of the bigger picture of animal welfare. \nPAWS 2 sessions meet on Wednesday from 4-6pm for Juniors (7-9 yrs. old) and Thursdays from 4-6pm for Pre-teens (10-12 yrs. old). Prerequisite: At least one or more sessions of PAWS 1 completed.
