Spring Native Plant Sale
Saturday May 21, 9am – 1pm
Our Annual Spring Native Plant Sale is Saturday, May 21st, from 9:00am-1:00pm at the Fitz Wetland Educational Resource Center at Pajaro Valley High School, 500 Harkins Slough Road in Watsonville. The sale will feature dozens of native and drought tolerant plant species, grown by our interns, volunteers, and staff, that attract birds, bees, and butterflies and help save water.
Plants can be pre-ordered for curbside pick-up online at www.watsonvillewetlandswatch.org or selected in person the day of the event. Guests will be able to tour our on-site native plant demonstration garden and participate in an adopt-a-tree workshop at 11:00am. Residents of the City of Watsonville can receive a free shade tree or fruit tree to plant at home through the Watsonville Community Forest Project www.watsonvillecommunityforest.org.
Proceeds from the plant sale support our on-going wetlands restoration and education programs in Watsonville.
