THIS WEEKEND! Come skate with your local roller derby league and get excited for our Rookie Program!
Meet the League Day — FREE!!
Description: Come out to meet the league night to chat with skaters, watch the last home game of our 2022 season, get a feel for our warehouse space, and just learn more about the league!

Please bring your COVID-19 vaccination card and ID so we can admit you to the warehouse.

Rookie Skating Program
November 8th-27th, 2022
Sundays 1-3pm, Tuesdays 7-9pm
440 Kings Village Road, Scotts Valley, CA
$30 in advance at: https://square.link/u/hWp44WZP
Pre-Requisites: You must, at minimum, be able to stand and roll forward on your quad rollerskates. We also need you to bring your own skates, as well as kneepads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet, and mouthguard, as well as your personal medical insurance cardThe curriculum covered in this workshop will include:
– Athletic, skating stance
– Skating stride
– 3 types of stops (with toe stops, wheel edges, and “t” style)
– Safe falling and recovery
– Roller derby gameplay basics
– Turning around 180 and 360 degrees
– Basic jumping
