The Scotts Valley Farmers’ Market will throw its doors open for the 2022 season at a new location on MAY 7th!
We are setting up at the BGC Joe & Linda Aliberti Clubhouse/SV Boys & Girls Club on SV Drive. Nestled up against this valuable, family-focused resource center, and a stone’s throw away from essential Scotts Valley businesses, this spot has never-ending possibilities for partnership, longevity and community building. Please, put the market on your weekly calendar, Saturdays 9a-1p.
On OPENING DAY join us for the STRAWBERRY BONANZA. Get your groceries and a meal and then get into the festivities: art making, a market hunt with prizes, FREE Beckmanns Bakery strawberry shortcake and mini scoops from the The Penny Ice Creamery (11a-1p). Enjoy face painting and live music too. New this year, Hidden Fortress Coffee Roasting is selling breakfast favorites like pancakes, french toast, sausage and bacon. The food truck rotation is better than ever and your favorite farms are coming back too.
We continues to offer the Market Match program, helping CalFresh/EBT participants stretch their dollars. In May, the Market offers a Double Match Special – providing TWO Market Match tokens for every EBT token for the first 10 dollars of EBT. Ten dollars of EBT becomes $30 in May at the Scotts Valley Market. Matching tokens are for fresh fruits and vegetables only.
