Felton Remembers Kickoff Fest with Two Film Premieres

During the Pandemic, Mountain Community Theater could not gather for live performance. But MCT Directors Kathie Kratochvil and Hannah Eckstein came up with unique ways to serve our Valley’s entertainment needs AND observe COVID protocols: short films featuring our county’s talented performers.

MCT Produced two filmed plays the Directors will introduce as the “opening act” for Felton Remembers, Memorial Day Weekend. The event will be a fundraiser for both organizations to recover revenue lost during Covid.

In “One Goodbye” married actors Shannon Marie McDonough and Ian McDonough portray a struggling Painter and snarky Songwriter who clash over the value of their art forms. Title music recorded by the Coffis Brothers.
Director Eckstein created “A Marriage Proposal” starring Tiffany Lee Cesarin, Steve Capasso and David Leach. Produced as restrictions were relaxed, it was MORE challenging because it was an adaptation of an Anton Chekhov Comedy!
