Cabrillo Festival Streams Start Saturday!

Cabrillo Festival’s opening night, Saturday, July 31, 7pm, presents the world premiere of Gabriela Lena Frank’s Contested Eden, with a dance video featuring Molly Katzman & Co. filmed in the CZU fire zone.

Sunday, August 1, at 11am offers two programs spotlighting emerging composers: first Danny Clay’s animated Sounding Puzzles performed by the Santa Cruz County Youth Symphony and Elias Gilbert’s Violin Quartet performed by Fourtés Violin Quartet;

Sunday, August 1 at 7pm “In the Works” features solo and duo musicians of the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra performing new music by Theo Chandler, Jeremy Rapaport-Stein, and Meng Wang.
