Sewn signature bindings have been in use since the 5th century.
In this class taught by Beth Thomas of Danskbog Bindery, we will sew together multiple page signatures (or folios) and attach them to a soft cover made of beautiful marbled papers.

Beth Thomas, located locally in Ben Lomond, has been bookbinding for over 35 years and has a bookbinding studio, Danskbog Bindery, where she does book restoration work, designs and makes new books and teaches bookbinding.
