Caroline’s Non Profit Thrift Shop
Christy Licker opened Caroline’s Non Profit Thrift Shop in June of 2010, just three years after the death of her daughter, Caroline, who passed away at the age of 16. Her hope was to honor the life of Caroline by donating money to local nonprofits with programs/services for children and their families with the goal of easing the fundraising burden for these non profits. Caroline’s volunteers are special. At present, Caroline’s has 80 regularly scheduled volunteers, ranging in ages 10-80. Our volunteer’s commit to regularly scheduled shifts, with some even creating handmade items for Caroline’s. Caroline’s is 100% volunteer powered, which means volunteers care for the shop, on top of performing maintenance tasks like landscaping and janitorial duties.
Little Trends Boutique
Little Trends Boutique carries a variety of clothing, accessories, shoes and toys specifically for children, made or sold by small, women-owned businesses, mainly in the United States.
We are two sisters-in-law who love shopping for our littles and wanted to create a site where anyone can shop for littles and support women-owned, small businesses while doing so.
The Benefit Shop
An elegant shop with thrift store prices. All proceeds go to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. We accept donations of china, crystal, silver, jewelry, artwork, gift items, kitchenware, small home furnishings, lamps, vintage items, and animal companion accessories. We welcome donations during shop hours, at the back porch of the shop. We offer donation receipts for your tax records. We are always glad to have new volunteers join us as we work for the neediest animals in our community. Call Leila Dunn, Shop Manager at 831-246-3870 for more information.
